Session Description

Recreation, hospitality and tourism are dynamic, people-driven industries, making them a natural home for many women with ADHD. This breakout session brings together expert speakers and women with lived experience to explore how ADHD shows up at work, how to support mental wellbeing, and why neurodivergent thinking is often a competitive advantage in our sector.

Attendees will learn from researchers, coaches, and industry leaders who will unpack the science and realities of ADHD, including habit formation, anxiety, emotional regulation, burnout, and navigating high-pressure environments. Speakers will share practical strategies for building sustainable routines, managing overwhelm, and creating work environments where neurodivergent talent can thrive.

This session is designed for women with ADHD, leaders seeking to better support neurodivergent teams, and allies who want to build more inclusive, high-performing workplaces. Expect honesty, insight, validation, and actionable takeaways you can apply immediately, whether you’re on the floor, in the kitchen, behind the scenes, or leading the organization.
