  • The inaugural WORTH Leadership Summit is taking place in Vancouver, BC at the beautiful Fairmont Waterfront Hotel.

  • We expect to have 250-300 attendees at this inaugural Summit. It is open to anyone connected to recreation, tourism and hospitality, from students new to the industry to those working in senior management roles. We use an inclusive definition of the terms woman and female. We welcome trans, cisgender, queer and non-binary people in our community. We also welcome men who support our mission to educate, elevate, empower and advocate for equity.

  • Yes - the hotel strives to create a culture of inclusion and is fully equipped to meet the needs of guests with disabilities. For delegates of the Summit, the hotel confirms on its website that the key areas including the entry, meeting rooms, ballroom, restrooms and parking are all accessible.

  • The Summit is an in-person event only.

  • No you do not, but membership is free, so why not sign up and become part of our community? You will get:

  • The dress code is business casual.

  • Summit attendees will be provided with a continental breakfast, coffee and snack breaks, as well as a soup/salad/sandwich buffet lunch. Any dietary restrictions will be happily accommodated, please be sure to note those when completing your Summit registration.

  • Top voices in the recreation, tourism and hospitality sector will share inspiring ideas with the intention of sparking dialogue about issues that impact women in the workplace.

    The program is constantly evolving, please check the Summit website for the most current information.

  • Of course! Networking is a very important part of this Summit where you will be surrounded by women and allies that are rooting for you. Networking in a community that wants to see you succeed is truly an uplifting and energizing experience like no other. Our goal is to provide you with the opportunity to make meaningful connections that will support you in your career and life journey.

  • Yes, it is possible to transfer your registration to another attendee, but your request must be emailed to summit@worthassociation.com by midnight (PST) on May 1st, 2024. If your request is approved, a $50 processing fee will be applied.

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to summit@worthassociation.com. Refunds will be issued as follows:

    • Before midnight, April 1st, 2024 - full refund less a $50 processing fee

    • Before midnight April 30th, 2024 - 50% refund

    • After May 1st, 2024 - no refund

  • We recommend that you have got your confirmation accessible on your phone, or in paper format, just in case there is some discrepancy between that and our registration list.

  • No, while there will be a few VIP seats reserved, almost all of the seating in each session will be general/open seating.

  • The inaugural WORTH Leadership Summit is taking place in Vancouver, BC at the beautiful Fairmont Waterfront Hotel.

  • There is a convenient parking lot under the Pan Pacific Hotel/Canada Place, across the road from the Fairmont Waterfront. It is run by Indigo Park Canada and costs $23 to park for the day (in after 6 am and out by 6pm).

  • We would be happy to speak to you about becoming a volunteer! Please let us know your interest by sending an email to info@worthassociation.com and we will fill you in on current opportunities for the Summit and other events.

  • Yes, please send a request for a media pass with the following information to summit@worthassociation.com

    • Name

    • Media Outlet

    • Phone, email and mailing address

    • Proof of employment by the media outlet such as a letter of assignment

    • An article or report that demonstrated the reporter’s capacity to cover the types of issues being addressed at this Summit.

    Media passes are for sessions only and do not include meals.
