Heather McCrory

Board Member for Hotel Association of Canada

A luxury hotelier with a hospitality background spanning 30+ years, starting at the Fairmont Banff Springs. She spent approximately 50% of her career in the Fairmont Canadian properties and 50% as part of the global Fairmont leadership team, in Sales, Revenue Management and Operations. 

In 2019, Heather became the Chief Executive Officer, North & Central America, Accor responsible for 100+ hotels, 10+ brands in 10+ countries. Recognized by stakeholders for her balanced and fair approach, Heather created space for talent development and the fundamentals of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

She was honored to receive awards including the inaugural Castell Award (2019), as well as the Katie Taylor Economic Empowerment Award (2021), for her extensive work to increase gender diversity and inclusion within the organization and across the industry. 

Heather is currently a board member for Hotel Association of Canada and previously on the boards of Groups360, AH&LA, US Travel Association CEO Roundtable, Tourism Toronto, Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) and Ontario Advisory Board for the Canadian Cancer Society. 

Today she enjoys Southampton, Ontario with her husband, Mark. They enjoy golfing, entertaining friends and family and walks on the shore of Lake Huron.
